Why this exists
Generic AI tools hallucinate atomic data.
A chemistry copilot can't.
Ask a general-purpose AI for the half-life of Na-22, an electron configuration, or a citation, and you'll get a confident answer that's plausible but wrong often enough to be dangerous in a classroom. We don't generate atomic facts — we look them up in a curated dataset where every value carries its source. Ten elements are fully hand-curated with teaching notes; the other 108 are machine-ingested from PubChem, IUPAC, AME2020 and NUBASE 2020 and are working through editorial review.

Roughly correct — but no source, no uncertainty, no way to know if the next ten facts are also "approximately."
