For chemistry teachers
The chemistry teacher copilotthat doesn't make stuff up.
Generate multiple-choice quizzes and free-response questions grounded in a curated, cited dataset of every element on the periodic table — not in whatever ChatGPT half-remembers. Every item carries NGSS and AP Chemistry codes.

Why this exists
Generic AI tools guess at atomic data.
This one looks it up.
Ask a general-purpose AI for the half-life of Na-22, an electron configuration, or a citation, and you get a confident answer with no source. We asked the model ChatGPT serves free users twenty-five element questions: it got two wrong and three more from outdated tables, and nothing in the replies told you which. We don't generate atomic facts — we look them up in a curated dataset where every value carries its source. Ten elements are fully hand-curated with teaching notes; the other 108 are machine-ingested from PubChem, IUPAC, AME2020 and NUBASE 2020 and are working through editorial review.
A general AI tool
"The half-life of sodium-22 is approximately 2.6 years."
Roughly correct — but no source, no uncertainty, no way to know if the next ten facts are also "approximately."
elementapi
Na-22: t½ = 2.6019 ± 0.0006 y
Source: NUBASE 2020 nuclear-properties evaluation
Same answer — but auditable. Every value in every record is cited the same way.
What you get
A chemistry copilot built around the dataset, not the chatbot.
Curated dataset
Every element on the periodic table — properties, isotopes, ionization energies, electron configurations — every value cited to IUPAC, AME2020, NUBASE 2020, PubChem, NIST or the CRC Handbook. Ten elements fully hand-curated, all 118 structurally complete, editorial review in progress. Versioned snapshots and seeded generation, so a quiz can be reproduced later.
Assessment generator
Dataset-grounded, templated quiz generation — not free-form LLM output. Every question is anchored on a real value and validated against the dataset before it reaches your students. Multiple choice and free response, with PDF and QTI export for Canvas, Blackboard, and Moodle.
NGSS & AP alignment
Every generated item tagged with NGSS performance-expectation codes and AP Chemistry unit codes. Browse the dataset by standard through the API.
Pricing
Built for the teacher who buys it themselves.
Every plan is below district-procurement friction so you can subscribe and start using it the same period. Sign in with your email, pick a plan, and pay by card. Every sign-in gets five multiple-choice quizzes every 30 days free, with PDF and QTI export, before deciding.
